 Randy Opotowsky, immediate past president of the PRC (throughout the storm!) is a Lake Vista resident currently restoring his flooded home He is a real estate attorney with the Steeg Law Firm and has followed recovery trends and proposals very carefully since the storm.

How to Flood-Proof the First Floor of Your Home

Sue Sperry, on staff at PRC, had just moved to New Orleans a few months prior to the storm. Her house flooded, but undaunted she has flood-proofed her slab home and has moved back in.

Tax Incentives for Renovating Older Homes

Patty Gay is the Executive Director of the Preservation Resource Center.  She will discuss the new tax incentives for restoring homes 50 years old or older.
