Mission:
Preserve and protect the historic districts,
landmarks and monuments in Lakeview.
Committee Projects:

with the State Historic Preservation
Office to identify historically
significant areas and landmarks in
Lakeview

Monitor and study legislation designed
to benefit historic areas and historic
preservation, and identify opportunities
for Lakeview and its residents to
utilize

Monitor Federally funded projects that
may affect historic areas or properties

Collect and display oral and written
histories of Lakeview and its residents

Identify, document, and commemorate
cultural or archeologically significant
sites

with other organizations whose mission
includes preservation or historic
documentation in Lakeview
