PLEASE DONATE TO IOWA RESIDENTS

 

LCIA and the Beacon are organizing what we are hopeful will be a very expedient and successful effort to help people with flooded homes in Iowa. We will collect funds and use every nickel to buy gift cards for Home Depot, Lowes, Kmart, Walmart and possibly other companies. These gift cards will go directly to people.

You can donate on the Beacon website, or bring a check to the St. Paul's Recovery Center on Vicksburg Street. Your donation is tax deductible. Please make your check out to Beacon of Hope.

 

We have already raised over $6000 for this as of August 4th. New Orleans residents are already there to help and more are going soon. In short, we believe it is "our turn" to return the favor of the extensive assistance other Americans have provided us to rebuild our community. Please help and thank you.
