City of New Orleans Hazard Mitigation Action Plan Update - Meeting

The City of New Orleans is partnering with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO), the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO), the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), Tulane University, and Loyola University to update the New Orleans Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (HMAP). This update will focus on addressing risks that impact the region. The aim of the update is to reduce or remove the long-term dangers to people and property from known hazards through effective actions and strategies. The city will host meetings where  public input will help the planning team identify potential hazards for residents and suggest ways to lessen their impact.
